School-X is a 501(c)(3) non-profit education organization with entrepreneur programs for young thinkers and tinkers in grades 2 through 12. Our mission is to teach and mentor young individuals to utilize their creativity, develop an entrepreneurial spirit, and contribute to their communities in positive ways.
 
'YOUNG DIRECTOR' CLASS – SCHOOL-X
 
School-X’s 'Young Director’ class teaches children in grades 2-6 the basics of entrepreneurship while creating their own short films. Students have the opportunity to experience film development cycle from storytelling, story board, casting to film production. At end of the session, students run a film festival for the La Canada community.
 
Young Director is made possible with support from Apple Store. Volunteers from the Pasadena Apple Store will work with students on film making techniques. The class will have up to three post-production sessions in Pasadena Apple Store to utilize film production equipment and software.
