Dear PCY Family,
I hope you enjoyed hearing about your little ones at the Parent-Teacher Conferences this past week. Thank you to our incredible teachers for all the extra time and energy you put into preparing the information for us parents. We are very fortunate to have you all!

Another very big THANK YOU to Michelle Sabourin for hosting Debbie Pierce's Farewell party at your lovely home. It was truly a wonderful afternoon wishing Debbie the very best on her next adventures and thanking her for her dedication, love and support to PCY for the past 35 years. We love you, Debbie!

On Wednesday, the children will participate in the annual LCFEF Jog a Thon during their PE times. You are welcome to come cheer the students on as they run! Please remember to register the joggers at lcfefs-20th-annual-jog-a-thon. There are prizes for the top fundraisers, most laps run by school and grade level, and most registered joggers between the 3 elementary schools! Good luck to our runners and GO PCY!

Charleston Wrap pick up will be on Wednesday from 8:00-9:30 am and 1:30-3:00 pm in the MPR. A big thank you to Sophie Chopra for chairing this fundraiser for us. You have done an exceptional job and we appreciate your time and organization.

Lastly, Friday is a Collaboration Day with early dismissal at 11:35 am.
I hope you have a wonderful week and look forward to seeing you around campus.

Warmest Regards,
Valerie Talbert

We're excited to host Rashmi Menon and Kristin Blomstrom from Parsons in Pasadena to talk to us about how they use technology in disaster relief efforts during our Science Night Out on Wednesday evening, November 15. Join us at 5:30 p.m. in front of the MPR for pizza and a mini challenge and at 6:00 p.m. for what promises to be a topical discussion.

The event is free and no RSVP is necessary -- just show up. See you there!
