I hope you all are enjoying the summer break!  The summer has flown by and there are just a couple of weeks until the start of our 2018-19 school year!  I am excited and grateful to serve as the PCY PTA President this year and am looking forward to the programs and activities we have planned for our school community.  The PTA board and committee chairs have been hard at work over the summer planning for the upcoming school year.  We hope that you will be as excited as we are about all the events we have in store. 
I am looking forward to welcoming all new and returning families to PCY.  Please remember to mark your calendar for our first PTA meeting on Thursday, August 15th at 8:15am in the MPR.  Here you will find useful information on PTA and school-wide programs, as well as many of the volunteer sign-ups for the year, including room representatives.

    Supply Box Pick-Up - August 6th & 8th
School Supply Box Pick Up on August 6th & 8th

School supply boxes will be available for pickup in the MPR on Tuesday, August 6th, from 8:00am-12:00pm and on Thursday, August 8th, from 2:00pm-6:00pm for those families who purchased supply boxes from the PTA last spring.  The ream of paper and Clorox wipes will be delivered directly to the classrooms and will not be in your child's supply box.  If you are unavailable during these times, please coordinate with another family to pick up your child's box for you.  Kindergarten boxes will be delivered directly to the classrooms.

Supply Box Pick Up in the PCY MPR:
  •  Tuesday, August 6th (8:00am - 12:00pm)
  •  Thursday, August 8th  (2:00pm - 6:00pm
Agendas are required for all 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th graders.  The delivery of the agendas has been delayed to unforeseen circumstances with our supplier.  If you ordered a supply box, it will be delivered to your child's classroom once we receive them.  For those families who did not purchase supply boxes, they will be available for purchase for $10 at a later date.  More purchasing information will be provided after we receive the agendas from our vendor.  We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

    Kindergarten Back to School Night -  August 13th
All kindergarten families are invited to attend the Kindergarten Back to School Night on August 13th from 5:45pm-8:00pm.

Box Tops for Education
It's a new year for Box Tops!  Please clip and submit unexpired Box Tops in an envelope or Ziploc bag, labeled with your child's name and teacher, and put it in the basket inside the school office.  Students who submit 100 or more throughout the year will be recognized at a Spirit Rally. The classroom with the most participation will get a special treat.
